Headlight Restoration

We use up to a 3M 6 step process to refine and polish your lens to a like-new finish. This process is unlike what you would obtain from road side vendor.

After restoration we can apply headlight protection film to eliminate further polishing.

Polycarbonate plastic is used because of its tensile strength and the ability to be manufactured to conform to the front end styling of a vehicle.  Although it's a very hard plastic, it's also very porous so during manufacturing a protective hard coat is applied to the headlight lens.  This hard coat is protects the headlight lens from intense sun, heat, road chemicals, bugs, humidity and acid rain, etc.  These elements over time damage the protective hard coat to the point that a ugly discolored, cloudy, hazy appearance develops on the lenses.  This damage will restrict the  headlights ability to project its beam of light at night, and during adverse weather conditions, may diminish the ability to see by as much as 90%.  

Headlight Restoration Increases Driving Safety

If you have cloudy or worn and yellow headlights you are taking a big and unnecessary risk when you drive at night.  According to the AAA Foundation For Traffic Safety:  An average of 9 out of every 10 cars on the road today has dirty or yellowed headlights that greatly reduce vision and need to be replaced, repaired or restored.

Most people do not know that not only do worn or cloudy headlights look bad, but they also reduce light output by as much as 95 percent. That is a huge difference in whether you can effectively see or be seen when driving at night.
